Anniversary of Grandma's passing

Florence Helen Freeman Smith
January 21, 2011 we lost a wonderful lady whom I love dearly and will always be thankful that she is my Grandmother.  She was born December 11, 1914 whom married Darrel Norman Smith on September 6, 1938 and were married until his passing on May 27,2002.  For 63 1/2 years they we a happy couple with ups and downs whom had a Daughter my Mother and whom lost a second child at 5 months along.  They disagreed with each but always seemed to work things out and made through the Depression, World Wars, and saw new technology that is not so new to my generation.  I miss her dearly but I know she is looking out for me still.

Found her now to find him.

Frederick and Louise Beubler
My Aunt Ella's parents are pictured here and now that her death certificate has been found confirming she was married I have a husband to find although it may be impossible due to only having about a birth year and his name to go on.  Matthew or Mathew Nicholas Blumenthal or Blumenthall or Bloomenthal is going to give me one darn hard time to find him but it is worth the hunt.  I'm glad to finally know what Ella died from since she was so young when she died.  At 21 and only married for 3 years her life came to a end.  I know for my Great, Great, Grandparents that was a sorrow nothing could fully heal.  I hope that I can find more about her husband but time will tell.  :)

Come out wherever you are.

Ella Louise Beubler age 21.
Great, Great Aunt Ella, where are you?  I searched for my Great, Great Aunt for my late Grandmother because it was her Mother's Sister.  We never knew how she died but a few weeks ago I found a lead however cannot prove it is her until I receive the death certificate hoping it shall give me her birth parents listed on it so I can tie this one loose end.  We couldn't find her death certificate she died at the age of 21 and no one ever knew why or why she ended up in Los Angeles California from Chicago Illinois.  But I found a marriage certificate for her and you are probably asking what makes me think it is her, well her name is not a common one.  Ella Louise Beubler isn't very common at all but then my family never was too common to start with.  I'm waiting as patiently as I can for a two more weeks she waited this long to be found I guess I can wait too.  Life is not about the destination but the journey we take to get there and this journey of mind includes digging up the secrets of our ancestors.  Guess solving a mystery is in my nature and I'm proud of it learning about whom came before is fascinating to me and I hope to find out all I can.

I often take Journeys of the Ancestor's in order to see where my family has come from but mostly to find out how they lived.  People have always fascinated me all my life and if you need help to find your Ancestor's let me know through here.  I will be sharing my family's stories as I unearth them along the way.  Thanks.
